HEYYYYYY HAPPY NEW YEAR AND MERRY CHRISTMAS 🌟⭐️❤🎄🎆🤩💫 it's been a few weeks since I got an update out... I got transferred from Mataró to Terrassa and we're white washing! my companion is Hermana wight and I stinkin love her. Leaving Mataró was SO SAD. I love that ward.  Our last week there President called us every time morocco played in the world cup (especially when they beat spain) and told us we had to chill in the piso because people were going crazy in the streets and mataró is a bit sketch.  they ended up taking us out and putting elders there which is real sad but maybe it's for the best.  I am loving Terrassa and we have been SO busy! busy missionaries are happy missionaries 😁👍 WE HAVE A CHURCH BUILDING ALSO. my whole mission we've been in little bajos sooooo I'M STOKED. we've been giving church tours up a storm and it's a dream. The ward is sups inactive but so sweet.  I thought we'd be out in the streets finding all day this transfer,...

an apple a day 😵‍💫 12/6/22

Another week another email HA #consistency.  Here's some things! I was just peacefully enjoying testimony meeting when this dog just comes running under my chair. Our friend Pepi came to church! We just forgot to tell her that the dogs prolly shouldn't. Anyway, the dog was just racing around the chapel and she made no attempt to get it so I had to get out of my chair and walk to the very front and capture the dog. 👍👍 This week a woman told me my skin is bad and that I have to eat 2 apples every hour. I'm game, but I just don't have the funds for 24ish apples a day. I told her I'll just stick to chocolate and stress.  Another guy told me I look like a jirafa which is a giraffe! Cool! This transfer is a transfer of planting seeds. Hopefully they grow one day! I read something this week that says "sharing the gospel makes you realize how grateful you really are for it" or something along those lines. And it is SO TRUE. It really is the source of joy. We...

Sayonara, baby! 11/28/22

HIIIIII it's been a hot minute!!!  Here's the update from the past three (or four?) weeks!  Mataró life is good. Teaching pool is pretty nonexistent so we've been finding up a storm. The ward is just wow. Amazing. So amazing I would consider being a Mataró resident in the future, not even a joke. There's this tiny Filipino lady and I'm still not sure why, but every time she sees me she says, "sayonara, BABY". So of course, I now end every sentence adressed to her with "baby". She cracks up for like ten minutes every time and it boosts my ego to unhealthy levels.  We're also teaching a hoarder and each time we visit I discover new pets in her piso. It's frightening and exciting and adorable all at the same time.  We also got followed home by a Moroccan gang and were on "lockdown" for a few days. They're now talking about putting elders here which would be sad, but I don't think they'll actually pull the trigger.  Lo...

แมว หากคุณกำลังอ่านข้อความนี้ โทรหาฉัน (that's a test for zelle to make sure she reads these) Here's some info from the last couple of weeks:  - we got transfer news! I love Girona with my whole heart and it's also the only area I've ever had so it was a sad goodbye.  - we had a member meal in a CASTLE. it was a top 10 coolest moments ever for me. - Álvaro got baptized and he was so happy! Xevi, who got baptized my first transfer here, baptized him, and they have a really special bond already. Álvaro has the coolest testimony, I'm so grateful for everything he's taught me!  - we were doing street contacting one day and we got a woman's number, and she works in a bakery. Anyway, I now know that we were definitely inspired to talk to her, becaus she starting calling us everyday to bring us a bag of bread while we were working in the church. Mana from heaven. Literally.  Now she's not actually interested in the gospel, but who knows? Maybe one day that wi...

Tortillas Americanas 10/24/22

Another few weeks have passed so here's an email! This transfer is flyinggg So much happens but I am always running out of time to write emails 🥲 here's some deets from the week: - we had the world's worst talent show this week and it was definitely a highlight of my mission. Made me reflect deeply on the concept of confidence and it's relativity. It was awesome. - we were casually walking through the park this week when this hunched over lady just hurled herself in front of us.  But she wasn't actually an old lady - it was a guy in his 20s #PRANKED! And he didn't actually fall, it was just a stunt for a video #prankedagain #crzy so yeah we were unwillingly part of a prank video this week, which was sups edgy  - we were in the grocery store last week and saw a thing that said "tortillas americanas" which actually was just pancakes - We had 5 people on date for the 29th of October and none of them are actually going to happen except for one. It was j...

Sprained ankles & Indian food!! 10/10/22

Hiii my dearest friends!  It's been such a good week and I'm learning tons and tons and meeting new people and trying new things. Plus the weather is finally cooling down and we've even cracked out the sweaters which we're pumped about.  Here's just some random events!  - I had exchanges this week with Hermana Hatch who actually served in this area for 6 MONTHS. So she was feeling nostalgic and maybe slight ptsd but also stoked when she came back for the day.  We were mid lesson when she ran to grab her bag and I just heard the biggest crash. Long story short, she destroyed her ankle and it was huuuuuuuge. She was cracking me up though and seriously was thuper brave #proud. I just felt bad for giving her the worst exchange experience ever. Girona leaves no one unscathed  - we have seen so many miracles this week in finding! We passed off everyone to the other area and even though it felt like starting over again, people have seriously been plopped into ou...

New companion 10/3/22

Lots to share in so little time! Please excuse the lack of grammar 👍👍 I finished my training last week what a ride that was... it's barely over and it already feels like a strange fever dream. But good stuff. I'm feeling so grateful for Hermana Quintana and everything I got to learn from her! I'm not ready for the big wide world without her! Ny new companion is Hermana Meyers and she's from Hawaii 😍😍 she's already one of my best friends in the world! So Christlike and funny and smart and hardworking and just a really good person.  We also live with two other hermanas now and it is just the best thing ever. One is Hermana Heckmann from Germany and she is quite possibly the funniest person ever. And there's Hermana Ballif and she's from Idaho and she has tractor sheets because she misses her farm. Precious. I love them tons and tons! I'm already dreading the day we have to separate!! The sad news is they split our area last week and every person we...
